It's not uncommon for people to start a college degree, but not quite get around to finishing it. It could happen for lots of reasons: money runs out, family commitments get in the way, health issues or other life cycle events.
Now, after several years off, you decide it's time to go back. To try and get back in the workforce, having at least a bachelor's degree is a must, and it doesn't hurt potential career advancement to have a graduate degree.
